Our well-equipped activity centers provide a wide variety of fun-filled and challenging opportunities for campers. Therapeutic activities are adaptively designed to match the pace and ability of each camper. Positive development is nurtured in a non-competitive atmosphere. In addition to activities listed below, we also feature many special events at camp, such as, out-of-camp trips, birthday celebrations, plays, musical performances and much more.
Swimming
Swimming is one of the most popular activities among campers; we also make it adaptive and instructional. A special buddy system is used to ensure waterfront safety.
Nature Study and Outdoor Bound Experience
Nature study at our 15-acre Rondout creek preserve is a strong part of our outdoor education program. Geologic wonders and biology and botany observations open up a new world for campers to enjoy. Nature study programs also include gardening, scouting, hiking, picnics, cook-outs fishing and campfires. The Mohonk Mountain Preserve provides another great location for off-camp trips and broader nature studies.

Art & Crafts
Our Arts & Crafts program encompasses painting, drawing, woodcrafts, art therapy, ceramics, fabric art and numerous group projects.
Drama
Our spacious social hall features camper talent shows, dances and dramatic performances. Campers read from and act in well-known plays and create their own. Drama allows for spontaneity and an opportunity for self-expression to be enjoyed by all campers.
Horseback Riding
The nearby Nevele Country Club's riding facility hosts our horseback riding program. A former special education teacher runs the ranch. All levels of riding ability are welcomed. Long pants, boots or shoes with heels (1/2 inch minimum) are required. Riding helmets are provided. A walking assistant along the horse's side supervises all novice riders.
